Connecting Ethiopia to Global Markets
Tungsten Import Export is an Ethiopia-based import and export company committed to connecting Ethiopian products with international markets while bringing quality products, technologies, and essential goods into Ethiopia.
With more than 20 years of experience in international trade, we have developed practical expertise in sourcing, procurement, logistics, customs clearance, and supply-chain coordination. From our base in Addis Ababa, we manage trade operations in both directions, helping Ethiopian commodities reach buyers around the world while sourcing reliable international products for the Ethiopian market.
Our approach is straightforward: understand what the customer needs, source it to specification, manage the logistics, and deliver with the documentation and support required.

Most traders run one direction. We run both, with the same team.
We buy sesame, niger seed and pulses from Ethiopian growers and sell them to buyers abroad. We source vehicles, medical equipment, building materials and industrial inputs from manufacturers and bring them into Ethiopia.
Because the same people handle both, one point of contact can answer for a whole shipment, the specification, the freight, the duty and the paperwork, instead of passing you between desks that each know one part of it.

Who runs it
The part clients actually feel is the paperwork.
Our leading shareholder holds an MBA from Mekelle University, with a background in international business management and import–export supply chain management. That background shows up in three places, and they are the three that decide whether a shipment costs what you were told it would.
- Correct classificationGoods declared under the right heading the first time, so the duty assessed is the duty owed and the consignment is not held while it is argued about.
- Clean documentationBill of lading, Commercial Invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, phytosanitary, weight and quality certificates and whichever certificates the destination requires, handed over complete, not sent on afterwards..
- A quotation that holdsA Quotation that holds when ever there is price fluctuation, No default..
