We buy from established international manufacturers and check each consignment against the specification agreed with you before it ships: assay or active content, chemical composition and consistency between shipments. Many industrial chemicals are classified as hazardous or oxidising, with handling, packing and storage requirements attached. Shipping documentation and packing are prepared for the classification specifically rather than as general cargo, which is where consignments most often get held.
Regulatory clearance
Chemicals entering Ethiopia are subject to the requirements of the Ethiopian Food and Drug Authority and the Ethiopian Customs and Revenue Authority, and the permits and certificates that apply depend on the chemical and on what it will be used for. We tell you which apply to your consignment before you commit to an order, not after it has shipped.
